| There is not a Course Equivalency Guide interface due to the amount of information normally found in equivalency databases and the number of required user interactions to identify and present the desired Course Equivalency data to a user. |
DARwin Course Equivalencies
u.select provides Course Equivalency Guide functionality for schools using DARwin and its standard Transfer Articulation (i.e. TA) tables. When the DARwin TA tables are in the same database as u.select, no additional redLantern software other than u.select is necessary. When the DARwin TA tables are NOT in the same database as u.select, the external CEG application is required. See CEG for further information on the external CEG application.
Custom Course Equivalencies
Schools can define a CEG Override Url. If a school defines a CEG Override Url, u.select will display the content from this Url when a user attempts to access Course Equivalencies for the school.
Custom CEG Appearance
Schools are free to use the u.select CEG stylesheets and html to provide a uniform appearance for a custom CEG. Web developers can view the html page source of the CEG information for Bowling Green State University of Ohio as an example.
