Some users report troubling being notified of new forum messages in a timely manner. If you feel you are having this problem, make sure your forum profile options are set as follows:1)

Open your profile by clicking on the My Profile link in the forum header

Review your email notification preferences, particularly "Send e-mail notification when posts get answered" and "Send notification for all new messages"
