Home page for the PeopleSoft - Transfer Rule extractor aka PS T-Rex.
What is PeopleSoft T-Rex?
PeopleSoft T-Rex is an installable web service client program which queries several PeopleSoft transfer rules database tables and sends the data to Transferology once a week via Transferology web services.
Once the data has been received by Transferology, it is transformed into Transferology's transfer rule representation and loaded into Transferology later that night.
T-Rex removes the need for PeopleSoft schools to provide transfer rule flat files for the manual import process.
The PS T-Rex web service client is a java program. It is provided in a downloadable zip (or gzip) file which contains the following:
- java libraries
- A linux shell script and Windows batch file to call the java program
- An extractor.properties file for school specific configuration
- Install instructions
